The next week's scheduled time arrived, and Miss Nancy Leonard, a reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Courier, sat waiting for our meeting at the Georgia State Women's Prison visitation center. She dressed in a fashionable grey knit pantsuit and gold silk blouse, her brown hair held back by a faux tortoise shell comb. Her nails, although short, were professionally done with a stunning pink polish. Her makeup was professional...

The large matron in the dull, brown uniform led me into the room and pointed toward the metal table and chairs, where a young woman sat. The woman was dressed in a fashionable gray, summer-weight wool skirt and jacket. A black purse that matched her shoes sat on the table in front of her. She was busy scribbling on the yellow pad lying on the bare table; when I approached her, she stood up and lifted her hand. “Hello, I’m...

The alarm clock rang, and I pulled the sheet over my head and reached for the clock. I shut the noisy thing off and rolled out of bed to slowly stumble to the bathroom. My head was pounding with a hangover, while my ass was sore from last night's vicious fucking by Detective Norman. I groaned and looked into the mirror, where I saw an image with bloodshot eyes, and I groaned again. I popped several Excedrin and brushed my...

Evelyn McDonald, his sister's future mother-in-law, caught him dressing in a nightgown; she forced Gary to confess he was a cross-dresser and demanded his obedience. Gary now sat on a lounge chair poolside, Mrs. McDonald had selected, and his eyes darted from his phone to watch Mrs. McDonald. The adults had returned to their conversation poolside. She didn't glance his way and seemed to ignore him, but he couldn't focus o...

It was early in the afternoon when Mr. Kent pulled into a driveway. The McDonald home was a large, two-story colonial-type house with a manicured lawn and flower garden; a tasteful fountain sat in the middle of the drive. As the trio began to exit the red sedan, Monica opened the house's front door, shrieked loudly, and ran to embrace her mother. The young coed hugged her father, and she squeezed a surprised Allen tightly...

Tim led the way to the elevator, and once on the street, he indicated the way. The summer night was warm, but there was a slight breeze, and Tim took my hand in his. Silently, we walked briefly, and he opened the driver's door to a magnificent, red Oldsmobile Toronado. "This is your car?" "What do you think, Ronnie?" "I think you are taking bribes," I joked and slid over to the passenger side. "I make payments," he laughe...

Thursday night, a few minutes after six, there was a knock on the door. I stopped drying the dishes, placed the dishtowel on the stove handle, and walked across my apartment's living room to open the door. A tall, well-built man in a dark suit stood in the hallway with his back to me. In his right hand, he held a cigarette, while in his left a small book. "Yes?" At the sound of my voice, he turned around and smiled. "I'm...

Two weeks had passed since Karen and Peter McCall spent a long weekend in Chicago. Allen had not seen or spoken to Mr. Smith since his encounter with his neighbor in the park. It had also been two weeks since he had dressed as Jennifer, and he badly wanted to. The phone rang, and Allen's mother picked up the red wall phone's receiver. His sister, Marsha, who attended Southern State University, was on the other end, and hi...

Your father is taking me to Chicago for a long weekend,” his mother explained. "Cool. You guys will have a blast.” “Will you be ok?” she asked, concerned. “Oh, sure. Is it ok if I go to the movies?” Allen asked. “Yes. Remember, your curfew is midnight. Not one minute later!” She held her index finger up with a warning wag. Mrs. McCall kissed his cheek, stood up, and left the room. Allen popped his headphones back on and r...

“Baby, I’m leaving now. I’ll call you later to see how you are doing.” Mrs. McCall snatched her valise from the kitchen chair, then scooped her keys off the table. "Yeah, okay," came a mumbled reply. “I should be home around six tonight. Bye, Baby,” the well-dressed businesswoman called upstairs. Allen lay in bed with the blankets pulled up under his chin and listened to his mommy’s station wagon start and back out of the...
