Thanks. I hope it lands for others as well as it landed for me. Not sure if I'll get to publish it before going on vac next weekend but maybe after I come home. There's still some ways to go with the story and I might end up splitting it in two (I'm approaching 6000 words now).

Third installment of Pussycat Park is up. I was going to break from it for a bit to work on other projects but had some wicked ideas last night and now I’m writing part 4 anyway.

Ended up finishing it before the weekend even concluded. Started two other drafts after this quoted post. I think I will keep doing the 10000 words weekly thing til end of January, and from February, I'll select 16 finished drafts to edit.

If I wrote 10,000 words in a week, I would be rewriting most of them because they are all in the wrong order! 🙄🤣

I thought it a daunting task as well when I thought it up, but then I remembered there were sessions where I shot out 1500 words plus. So i figured, i could get 1500 words a day if i don't procastinate, which exceeds 10,000 weekly. I have to see if I can keep this up when I restart gym later this week though.

What helps me too is working multiple drafts simultaneously. If I had this goal for drafting only one story at a time, I would fail miserably.

In addition, I find not having much of a life also helps in achieving this goal 💀💀.

I have just done 5000 in three days for a kindle Read. Im finding once the idea starts to germinate,, the floodgates open.....

After months and months of writer's block on my Midlife Renewal/Midlife Resurgence series, I finally got one out. I had been stuck on which of numerous mild kinks to introduce, and how to choreograph and sequence the sex once the story gets past dessert. Having a holiday break finally gave me the time to sort it.

And that's just one of three stories I managed to get out during the holidays. Here's how to be productive with the writing: stop working! Just wait until I fucking retire, folks. I've been staggered by the response to my competition entry, now above a 260 score, more or less doubling anything else I've published. And Disrobed, my not-competition story (but which meets the comp criteria) has also proved remarkably popular. I see no greater proof that short stories get read more.

To the original topic, what to work on now? Next chapter in Midlife Resurgence. Guess I should keep it short and salty. This time I've got the sex choreography figured out and just need to actually write the thing. Not sure I'll keep harping on the mild kinks, given a somewhat tepid response to this last chapter. Maybe my readers just want plain old, straight-up bisexual action. I can totally keep writing that. And the subsequent chapters are going to get wilder even without any kinks.

I posted my (very silly) comp entry today. I want to get the omnium badge but the only genres left are ones I'm not interested in, so I've rather stalled with erotica lately. I just cannot get excited about watersports or cross-dressing! So I'm going to revisit my true series, my "Sexual Autobiography" series for the next entry. It's been neglected since May last year so time for an update!

Cooled off from this around mid month. Started to tire of drafting so much sex, so started editing a draft I wrote in late 2023.

Just a poem for the comp right now. As I commented on StoriesSpace, I might take a break from writing other than comps for a while. Do some reading and other activities instead. Not sure how long it will last. Probably only until a cool new story ideas hits me.

I entered the Small Moments poetry comp today. After writing some pretty dirty stuff the past few days, it felt strange and wonderful to focus on a Love Poem.

Tender Mercies

I didn’t think I’d enter the latest competition, having never written a poem before. But I woke up yesterday with an idea in my head, somehow organizing it into a first draft with a simple rhyme scheme in under an hour. Funny how sometimes I can agonize for weeks or months over a story, and other times just crank one out.

Next? Besides another chapter in my series, suddenly I have multiple poetry ideas. This morning I woke up with an idea for a Christmas poem, which great because I will have ten months to work on it.

And I also realized this morning that my latest publication is number sixty-eight for me. Well! The next one had better be special. It will be yet another poem, this one an ode to its own ordinal, the number that represents completeness and infinitude of pleasure.

Just submitted the next chapter of Pussycat Park.

Next I'm going straight into the next one. Wolf and Kitten are a mess when they get together. I think their insatiable activities together are gonna add four or five chapters to this thing before it's done.

After that I think I'll be touching a bit into my new Jewel series. I plan to have a lot of fun with this one, going into a psychosexual horror series before it's all said and done. Gonna slow burn that one though.

I'm waiting on the last chapter of Spare Parts to get released. After that, it's back to working on that high school story, and trans story. I'm not sure how well fanfics do here, or if they're even accepted, but I have two of those partially laid out, that I'll get to, once those are finished. I'm thinking about removing a story from my other pen name, and placing it under this one, due to being mostly sex.

They are not. Fanfic has been a no-go here as long as I have been around.

The fact that I haven’t seen any makes me pretty sure it was a no. I got permission for a series to reference characters from other works but it was because I had a cosplayer dressing as them.

Try Archive of our Own for fanfiction works. I think the site deals exclusively in them. Been a while since I've been there but they used to have a pretty popular erotica section.

Yeah, that's probably where I would go if I was writing fanfic. Which I am not, even if ideas come into my head from time to time.

Things get pretty wild and weird in the fanfic world. Rowling has historically been very unhappy about fanfic but seems to have given up fighting it.

If you're interested in collaborating, I broke the seal with my first watersports story three weeks ago and now I can't stop; I've written seven in total and have four more planned. It would be like the guitar solo on Beat It; you'll be Michael Jackson and get all the credit, but I'm Eddie Van Halen laying down some almost-anonymous sick licks to make it sparkle.

Just posted the latest chapter of Pussycat Park. This involved probably one of the most fleshed out scenes I had going in. I'm really thrilled with how it came out. I've also been thrilled with my progress at keeping up one chapter a week for nine weeks. I want to complete the story in this fashion, but I think the next week will be my biggest challenge to do that.

Where as my confrontation between Red and Kitten was well planned out, the aftermath is a little messy in my mind. I have pieces that need moved into place as I march toward the end of the story which is much better established in my notes. So I'm just moving ahead and writing it. Letting the characters bounce off each other and seeing what happens. At this point I know them all enough to go in freeform and see what they do.

Supposed to be doing a story for the comp on StoriesSpace but today has been a bit of a writeoff between housework and snow clearing. Not even sure I'm happy with what I have but it's a tight deadline for this one so I can't really fart around too much.

I'm researching for my next chapter after submitting my last one yesterday. The initial draft for it was written over a decade ago, almost two so I have no idea where my old research is. Medical stuff isn't so fun.

I’m writing a Lush story that’s really about escaping the craziness of the world, finding some sense of self care and recentering through unanticipated sex that comes spurring of the moment. It’s more well-written story and romance than raunch, but that’s my style (and mood, I guess).
