Authors : What are you working on?

Been light on Lush the last couple months. Summer, lots of personal stuff going on ... BUT I finally have a draft done of my next Midlife Renewal chapter. After several gay-extravaganza MMM chapters, this one will be MFM, with the action mostly female focused.

And the next chapter after that will be my first Lesbian story, and also my first with a female protagonist. That one might take a while longer, because I really want to get it right. All too often when I read stories told from an ostensibly female perspective, you can still just tell when it was written by a guy. There won't be long fingernails, 36D tits, gobs of squirt or twerking asses in this one. I'm sure it won't be perfect, but I want to avoid a male-gaze viewpoint as much as I can as a male.

And then there's the Obsession competition. I have at least two naughty ideas kicking around, both male-bisexual because that's how I usually roll. One is in the Money category, the other Cheating. I may have to write out an outline and a few hundred words of each before I can decide. Both are good story ideas that I have come up with in the last few weeks.

I have just finished writing my third 'Cash in Hand' story, which will be published in the college sex genre. It is a 3-parter. My only dilemma is whether to split the 6,000-word third part into two. 😳😜

I was then going to take a break from writing, as we are on holiday for 6 of the next 7 weeks. Yes, we are retired. However, I love the idea behind the Obsession competition, and I have an idea for a story, so it looks like my laptop will be travelling with me. 🙄😎

Got a pretty good outline and character sketches figured out for my comp entry. Even normally, I make a point of including a psychological dimension in many of my stories, but I think the Obsession theme will force me to dive quite a bit deeper into my characters' psyches. Excited about this one.

Also, as usually happens, despite taking weeks to get the first draft done on my MFM story, I then put in the work to polish it off and get it published within a few days. See Tori's Reward link in my sig. Lesbian story is next up in the series, but I want to do my competition entry next.

Working on my next chapter still. I got caught up on some parts because I was still struggling to get into my character's head space but I seem to have made some progress today. Hoping it'll be done next week. Haven't formulated a plan for the idea I had for the competition so I'll probably finish off the chapter I've been holding back the past 3+ years before the summer ends.

The Cloudfall Accord - A mainstream novel (editing)

Think The Eagles' song Hotel California mashed up with The Twilight Zone and a heavy dose of Mickey Spillane. This anthology collection of stories follows broken men, femme fatales, and a motel that never sees the light of day. These stories are just fun to write!

Crimson Empire

The Crimson Empire series follows a powerful family dynasty that controls everything from tech companies to supernatural alliances, where love and loyalty clash with danger and desire across multiple interconnected stories and novels. It's a world where billionaire romance meets paranormal fantasy, and every family member must choose between protecting their empire and following their heart.

And these are just a few of the things I have in the hopper. I have a sequel to a previous mainstream novel in the works, another mainstream novel, a spicy novel in the Rain & Neon universe, and a lot more.

3000 words has finally become 6000 o.O

Uh oh, my character in in ultra slut mode 😳 I gave him too much freedom on the page and later behavior popped out.

It's fine... I'll just have to throw everything I planned aside.

Edit: At over 7000 words now after heavily editing the mess my character made. Finally close to writing the ending for this chapter and closing this period on his life. 😲

So many projects, so little time. I want to finish Pussycat Park. Probably 2 chapters left. Almost done.

But I also have so many ideas for the obession contest.

And I have a real life writing project for a monthly game in September.

I also want to write a few special friends some stories just for them that I haven't had time to get down.

I need more nights to myself. Just finished one project. On to the next.

So now going back to a couple of series I've had going. New chapters of The Fluff and Fold Girls, and The Mini-Golf MILFs in the works.

I have just finished the 3rd, 'Cash in Hand' story. These are a series of 7 short stories that follow a young couple as they go through life. Each story is in a different genre, and when I have finished the seventh story, I will be just two genres away from obtaining the Ominion badge. 😊

I have just laid out the plot for 'Cash in Hand 4', which I will expand and write in October.

But first, my competition story. It's the only thing I plan to be working on during September, as holidays and travel will be eating into my free time. It won't be the first time that I have worked on a Lush story while sitting by the pool. 🙄

Getting close to the end of a first draft of a story originally intended for the obsession competition, but it's already over 10K words and I haven't quite reached the climax yet. It's going to be tough on the second pass, but I'll need to revise it significantly to meet the word limit of the contest (or even LS' regular 10K cap). So, it may or may not ever see the light of day, but that's what I've been working on.

I'm making slow progress with an 'Obsession ' comp story, but I can't decide how to finish it. Hopefully a Sunday afternoon working on it will bring a breakthrough!

Finally got the first draft done of my Obsession comp entry. I got stuck more than once at points where I want to elucidate emotional dimensions, which are critical given the competition theme. Finally, I decided to just write up the damn sex scenes, and then fill in the emotions and turning points, which did the trick. This draft is very rough, but now I can switch to editing mode. Came in just under 6k words. I should easily get it down under 5k, and I'd like to be closer to 4k when it's fully polished. If it weren't a regular story, I'd probably get it published within a week, but for a competition I'll surely take longer.

EDIT, September 8: Published! Secret Sixties came in around 4500 words.

Also have been working on my lesbian Midlife Renewal story. and have it mostly outlined, with much of the initial pre-sex dialogue written. EDIT, September 12: First draft of Tori's Torrid Story is complete.

I'm working on a MILF story that has evolved into something more than I planned. The characters had their own ideas on the direction of the story and who am I to argue? That being said, it will be another day or two before I have time to finish editing it. But soon! Very soon! Lol.

I've just had my obsession's companion story published; it's a slightly darker tale than I normally write. 😊

I have a story on the go but it's going to be a longer piece and I have no idea how long or where it ends up beyond some broad ideas about the plot. Basically a female Robinson Crusoe but in a fantasy world with strong fantasy elements (e.g. a weird alien being sharing the island with her).

No plans to enter the comp right now. I have no real interest in the theme and not even sure I feel like writing for here at the moment.

I’m working through the plot line of a science fiction story about a genetically artificial species that is born androgynous and asexual but fully intelligent. After reaching maturity, they undergo a chysilis, becoming a male slave warrior caste.

If they survive their use as expendable shock troops, they would then undergo another profound chysilis into female breeders and sex slaves.

In all of this, their engineered psychology not only grant them the desire to fulfill these roles, but also makes their ability to be satisfied in life, depended upon them.

Obviously, the people who genetically created them are the villains in the story, while the humans who liberated them have to struggle with the moral implications of what the aliens have created and how are they gonna deal with them in their society?

Obviously, this is a very intricate story that could go on for a very long time. My thoughts now are that I’d like to publish this on lush. The project may be too big or have me running into certain guideline restrictions that would prevent, it although nothing would actually be nonconsent because in any case, the slave race is designed to desire whatever their programming required.

I may in the end, keep it separate and publish it on Amazon, depending upon how it comes out. I’ve read science fiction my entire life, and I never come across a story quite like that so it has advantage of being fairly unique. The closest use of cloning in science fiction that I can think of that compares are the gem at a Star Trek, but these are actually quite different from that.

Is that something that would appeal to the audience here I don’t know science fiction isn’t highly red, but there is a niche following for it. In any rate, I haven’t even started yet. I’m still working at the basic ideas.

Sounds intriguing. But unless it has copious boobs and butts as part of the plot, you might be better off publishing it over on StoriesSpace. Or, as you say, self-publish.

Well, the reason their sex slaves is because there would be plenty of sex. In fact, there’s great opportunities for it in this.

I don’t really want to publish this at story space because the reader ship there is so load it’s relatively pointless other than as a vanity project and if I’m gonna work this hard on something I either want to get something back from it or at least have enough people read it to make it worthwhile

So if it gets published anywhere but lush, it’ll be on Amazon and I might do that anyway. Much of that will be determined by how the story progresses.

You certainly could publish it here in the Novels category, Milik. Your idea immediately reminds me of Ursula K. LeGuin’s writing, especially The Left Hand of Darkness, although other of her stories also explored gender and sexuality adaptations of humans different than found naturally on Earth. I’m not that big into sci-fi generally, but a hardcore envisioning of something like Left Hand would have me cumming every few pages.

Now that I've released Margaret The MILF, I've been working on a story of a woman who wishes she could have a do-over at life. It's still in the rough stages, but it's starting to turn into a story. I hope to be able to finish it next week.

My competition entry ran into quicksand and I stopped and let it go. I've got a second idea, but I need to be quick, time is running out! So it's finish the original or do the second idea at warp speed!

Still working on some story layouts, recently a trans story. A few days ago I wrote and finished a trans girl next door type story called Peeping Tom, that a I submitted a few days ago. My fiancee's stepdad went into the hospital before Labor Day, and they finally unplugged him Friday, so I'm not sure how long ago I submitted it it, it was dealt with on down time. i know it was in the past few days. Don't know if there's any wrestling fans here, but he had a short career in the 90's before a back injury.
