Reminds me of the sketch from 90s Scottish TV show "Absolutely" where two Jehovah's Witnesses turn up on the doorstep of the lovable yet simple man, Calum Gilhooley.

There are two of them that hang out at the park where I take my walks. We hung out and talked once when it was raining and we were all under the shelter. We talked for like a half an hour. They didn't try to convert me, though we talked religion a lot. I've talked to them a couple times since then. They're nice kids, if pretty naïve. Sadly, in my story THEY WILL BOTH HAVE TO DIE!

I'm on a mission to bore my readers to death with 1940's Olympic weightlifting! Right now... Writing about Daniel's road trip to Philadelphia, PA, where the 1947 World Championships are being held (in late September, when leaves are changing colours).

After 3,500 words, I realized there was almost nothing sexual and it was all weightlifting-related. It's not bad in itself to write more than what I'm going to actually leave in the final version, but the story is about Daniel's love life, not about his life on the weightlifting platform.

The main story is when a circle of lifters are having a big dinner, at the Horn & Hardart automat restaurant on Market Street, they are approached by two white women in their 30's or 40's along with their niece.

Many of these world-class lifters are black men, the others are an interesting mix of European, Canadian, Korean and Egyptian male splendour. The women find a civilized way to let the men know they'd love to live out their fantasy of getting gang-fucked by lifters in the showers of some seedy gym.

Daniel has spent the week training in such a gym somewhere between 40th and 32nd streets in West Philly. He thinks these women are very fuckable. 😈

Taking a break now! I’ve pulped out thirteen stories this summer, which has been a blast, but I need to pause.

I’m planning to take my time in crafting the next Midlife Renewal chapter(s), and putting everything else on hiatus for a while.

AI is fascinating me at the moment, but my first attempt was poorly written thus rejected. I am thinking along the lines of intuitive life like robots.

Just did something I hadn't planned on doing - adding a new chapter to my "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" series. I've got a couple more chapter ideas kicking around, too, so we'll see how far this resurrection goes (in spite of all my complaining that episodic serialization is a terrible approach to story writing. I fully acknowledge I'm a fucking hypocrite).

I think I have another chapter of "Shagging for Scotland" in me, it will involve a lot of bi-sexual and same-sex shagging with two women. I need to do more research and get some advice before submitting the final draft.

Not a bad device. You could do a lot with it. I wonder about working with the seven virtues as well: Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Patience, Kindness, Humility, and Diligence. Could you make them sexy, too? Might be a great theme for a competition: Virtue and Vice.

When I started Heavenly Sinners, I knew there was room for a sequel. Now it's turned into a trilogy, with two followups in progress. Both are basically completed first drafts. Now to edit "part 2" and get it posted. Then I'll do some work on the finale. Or what is currently the finale. I am not actually sure if it will be the end. There's plot threads and a basic conflict that are still unresolved. Though I might still rewrite the current part 3 to resolve them.

Chapter 12 of my series... Still... I keep rewriting the opening because I'm not happy with it, plus I'm stuck on a transition between the middle part and the closing. I'm on holiday next week, so I'm hopeful that over a couple of evenings, I will get it finished.

I started writing episode seven of my novel/series "Learner to Legend: Roser's Tale" this afternoon. Episode five is with the mods, episode 6 is waiting in the wings.

I had to put the story I'm expanding onto ice for the moment. I'm reworking my Roommates with Benefits trilogy to turn it into a third-person viewpoint. I got invited to a live write scheduled for the first Saturday in January 2024 to workshop the story.

Editing a Mature story I hope to release in the beginning of December. After that I will edit a draft for another I want to release within that same month.

Hopefully start a draft for another idea that's more in the range this weekend.

Possibly write outline for either an interracial or other Idea 🤷‍♂️.

I toyed with an idea that would have kind of gone that way but set it aside for now. I am not a huge Western fan but some of my favourites do have a whisper of weird to them (e.g. Pale Rider).

I’m creating the inner workings of my next novel. It’s science fiction last my previous books. I spend about a year on them from start to finish. I started and stopped two other books, they just fizzled out. This one’s a winner, though, I can feel it!

Too early to start murdering the 'little darlings' yet (but they'd better watch out!). I'm still in the idea stage, too. I think I may have a very rough idea of the characters and what brings them together, and a couple of scraps of banter that may or may not make it into the actual finished product. Probably spend some time just mulling it over before I make a proper start at it.
