I do have some ideas for a few spooky stories that I'd like to get started for next month.

I have a week off this week, that's why I've already started my spooky stuff. Means I might get a couple in this year. Should try to go erotic horror for the next one so I get one for each site but we shall see. Might also do something lighter since the vampire story goes pretty dark (and might go darker, I am at a possible ending but might remove that and go longer).

On a difficult journey home, Kate finds love and sex in a fellow traveler.

Kate Meets Martin

And I first introduced Kate as a university student whose first time kind of sets the stage for her new story.

Vampire story submitted over on StoriesSpace. Now contemplating what to do with the rest of the week. Pursue something new, maybe another horror/ghost story for Halloween, or return to one of my ongoing projects.

I'm working on a Monster story. It's VERY out of my comfort zone, but I'm trying to write at least two stories in every genre.

We shall see how this goes...

Can't Buy Me Love - He let her slip away once. Could this be a second chance?

Safe In Your Arms - No place I'd rather be.

Take Me Now - A lucky man comes home to his needy wife.

Always Him - A tribute to true love and amazing sex.

After publishing my Horror and Monster Sex stories this month, I will have just four more genres to go before reaching Omnium (no, not double Omnium, but good for you, Kat!)

Today I finally started writing the Sci-Fi story I intend to cross the finish line with. I've had a swirl of ideas in my head for a couple of months now, comsuming lots of potential literary, screen and musical influences. It's the recent informal Sci-Fi writing challenge that has helped me finally coalesce those into something that's becoming coherent. This is exciting!

I'm about halfway done with Nikki 3 and starting Call Me Three, but the meds are screwing with my creativity ( NO not recreational ones )

Cover just created for my next story. Already completed two passes of reading through to edit for prose. Next up is that boring stage I mentioned in another post. I'll end up dropping it in the 'Tab00' category given the nature. I estimate it will be ready for publishing in 2 weeks.

Working on a 'Reluctance' story but will probably revisit it tomorrow. Over 1,900 words so far, and still far from done. I'm sure I can condense it. The cover I selected for the story just screams 'Reluctance," so definitely going to out this month. Hopefully within the next few days. Also just finishing cleaning up a cover photo I will use for a ' ' story.

Both a "Reluctance' story and a ' ' story will help me with my near-term goal of becoming a 'Prolific Writer.' Currently halfway there: 23 story categories out of 46 categories required.

2 'Recommended Read' stories

4 'Famous' stories

After my recent flurry of submissions, I've slowed down a little as I work on an apocalyptic sci-fi piece that I hope is both tense and sexy. It's inspired in part by Ensorceled's recent piece Fuck, Marry, Kill (go read it now).

I've got a way to go to wrench it into the shape I want, as it doesn't yet have the depth I'm after.

I'll be in the toolshed...

It has been a while since I posted an update here on what I am working on, although it has not really changed in the last year! 😳🙄🤣 I do enjoy writing long, character-based erotica, so my projects tend to be long! 😈

Currently, I am around halfway through my second "Cash in Hand" novel, originally titled "Cash in Hand 2". It is set in the fictional town of Somertyn and features John and Janet (JJ) Jones and two older lecherous men who own the Somertyn Manor and the estate that goes with it...

Have a read of the story comments; it's been well received by the members here, and because of that, it's made it a pleasure for me to write.

Anyway, that is enough said... I do post regular updates on my profile page; here are some of the up-and-coming story covers... David. 😊

Working on my first true story. I was reminiscing about a brief and intense flame I had, and suddenly felt compelled to write.

Dang, I thought I was all set to publish Daphne's Double Date after the two Daphne's Halloween stories. But then I realized that having entered the picture at the Halloween party, Stan needs a whole chapter, and it has to precede Double Date. So I've spent the past few days writing that. As a concert-centered story, it will be a hard-rocking musical homage to boot. I hope to get Stan Bi Me out there by the weekend, followed by Double Date next week.

Then it will finally be time to publish Persistent Terror! It's my first Horror story and one that I hope will be genuinely scary, or at least nail-biting. After that, Dong Way from Home is pretty much ready to publish, a lost-in-the-wilderness continuation of the Becoming A Man series after Daphne's and my long-dreaded breakup. The three remaining Becoming A Man stories after that are fully drafted but could use retooling. That should keep my busy until December.

Also rearranged my recent Steam Mates a bit today, moving the hook to where it belongs at the very top, instead of buried below some boring exposition that is necessary for this Steampunker, but can come after the ... uh, steamy intro.

Postcards is finished. I need to make a few adjustments and edits to the last two parts.

I have written some really dirty stories in the past, and I have the opportunity to make it my 99th or 100th story. I have 4,100 words already... it needs... just a little more filth in the dialogue. 😳 I want elegant filth. 🤣

There's a twist too... 😘

We write to taste life twice: in the moment and in retrospection - Anais Nin.

Would you like to read how I've tasted life? These are my stories.

Postcards - Disillusioned with my life, I left Paris and travelled the South of France for a year. A true story.

These Walls Talk - A young woman with intense sexual fantasies finds herself lodging in a house with an over-sexed couple.

Of Flames and Light - An artist resists the attentions of an enigmatic man who only wants to watch her sketch.

And now after today's announcement of the Simulation competition, I'm wondering if I can rework this part-written story to fit the theme. Hmmmm 🤔

Will see how it goes. If it doesn't work I'll write something different for the comp.

Simulation

As Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality become more mainstream and realistic, many entertain the theory that we exist in a computer-generated simulation. That a computer is writing our plot, and that some people may not even be real.

Well, I would have finished my latest bit of nonsense, but it was top-up seasonal double-jabby day today. Why that leaves me feeling like I'm stoned, I'm not sure, though a wonky brain probably plays a part in it. The outcome of writing today would have been 'different', to say the least, though probably largely unintelligible.

I've been super busy at work recently and writing has had to take a backseat. But I see a new competition has been announced, so I'm going to mull over some potential ideas for an entry (when I think of some!).

The true story is up and out! That one was oddly emotional for me to write. This was on the back of making a video game that very much dug deep into some hard times in my life.

So I thought I might take a break.

Instead I woke up and busted out almost an entire new chapter of Turnaround Service and made a pile of notes for a comp entry. I wasn’t excited at first with the theme of ‘simulation’. Didn’t feel entirely sexy to me. But I had an idea that stuck me as both poignant and hilarious, and now I’m looking forward to writing it!

How y'all draft and edit so fast? I haven't even come up with an idea yet 😆💀.

It's funny. I am usually a slow writer. Most of my stories, between writing and editing, consume easily 30-50 hours of my time. In this case, the words just started flowing as soon as the comp was announced. I was less focused on submitting the most creative, live-changing story - well, at least in my mind - and was more focused on just having fun writing. 5-6 hours later, I was ready to submit. Well, ready enough. 🤣

Next to my Advent comp entry, this is the fastest I've turned a story around!

I was also concerned that someone else would go in the same direction that I did, and wanted to get my idea out there first! So that helped motivate me as well.

I am currently working on a pulp fiction series, but the site's rules don't allow me to publish it here, at least for now. It is John Wick meets D.E.B.S.: Rival secret societies that are 1,000 years old use red sparrows to seduce and kill members of the other group. I use the first names and real people in the Epstein files. Our main heroine is thought to have a magic yoni to those women who taste it. The rival group is run by Jordana Diamond (Jordana Brewster played Lucy Diamond) and Sofia Falcone, whose name I would have to change to Sophia Falcone because of the fan fiction rule. But since people are killed, this will never see the light of day. I am content to transfer other works, while my masterpiece will not be published here until they lighten up the restrictions.

I wouldn't hold your breath. You'll be waiting a long time.

We just submitted our next story. About the first attempts of letting my husband watch me with other men. I wish a group could be created. We are waiting for it to post. Hopefully soon.

Also

I wish a group could be created, that authors could upload images of their stories or favorite stories written by others. Where they would comment , what stoights from and who the author is. We are not gold members , so we cannot create groups. Maybe there's a gold member out there that will do that. I know myself , my husband and a few other friends on lush would definitely join.
