You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood. I made the mistake of watching the Netflix series while reading the book. Hopefully, I won't end up resenting both the book and the series. So far, I am enjoying both.

Lush forums..

I’m resurrecting this thread bc I need it to nerd to. Lol

I’m about to start reading The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

I'm reading the latest Jack Reacher novel "In Too Deep". And yes, there is a new one that came out in October. But it's not available at any of the libraries I frequent (I'm not in a rush to find it either).

For the first time in a long time, I am only reading one novel rather than 2 or 3 simultaneously.

Zoe Baird: Pathogens and Popstars

Island Getaway Comp(2nd place): Fucked In The Head

My last published story: Deliciously Assumptious

Re-reading Strategy by B.H. Liddell Hart. I think it’s been 10 or more years since I last read it, good to see how much less I gloss over now that I understand it more.

Actual reading, about 2/3rds through Father's Days: A True Story of by Katherine Brady (been reading on Kindle on and off for over a month, it's an older yet engaging biographical story, very raw and honest)

Listening via Audible: Just started Storm Bound by Leonard Petracci (a more lighthearted fantasy / sci-fi type of book, 4th in a series I've been listening to and closer to my normal reading fare)

I put down the silent patient probably four chapters in. Too wordy for me. I’ve since read another Ali Hazelwood (gonna be sad when I’m through all her books).

Now I’m reading Listen for the Lie, by Amy Tintera. A new author for me, recommended by my cousin. What a first fucking chapter! I don’t think I’ll be putting this down
