Writing a threesome story that brings back the characters from Rekindled. It will be fairly standalone, though. Matt and Leigh enjoy their first threesome is the short version. There will be a plot twist of some kind, too, just haven't figured out what it is.

Yeah, that didn't go far. New story is a guy who takes in a young woman in distress and ends up in a relationship with her. Except I am not sure how to end it.

And then there's an opening scene for an s-f story but Lord only knows where I will go with that other than it is probably not going to be erotic in the slightest so will go on the other place. Think Starship Troopers or Aliens.

A strange little something for Halloween.

Currently, working on StepDaughter Temptation #2 - 'Wanna-Try-It? Winnet' - Winnet spent most of her life in an orphanage after her parents died in a wreck when she was six. Today, however, she turns eighteen and becomes a legal adult, is released into her custody for the first time, and also inherits a sizable family fortune. If that wasn't enough to make a turning point in her young life, the same day her only other living relative, a long-lost Uncle reappears. Presumed dead after his company flight crashed into the Atlantic ocean, he reveals himself at Winnet's release and bequeathment! Now they must split the fortune according to Winnet's parents' will... and both her Uncle and the orphanage agree it'd be a good idea if the relatives share a home, at least for now. Winnet knows almost nothing of the larger world, so she decides, why not? Her Uncle, named Karston, seems like a decent guy. A bit scraggly, though handsome certainly. And his body, Winnet notices, makes it look as though he'd spent the entire twenty-two years of unknown whereabouts on a tropical island. She could definitely picture him eating fruit and hunting down boar, with his deep tan and swimmer's build.. For all innocent Winnet knows, that's exactly where this mysterious man was, before he showed up to steal half her new money.... She knows exactly where she's been, stuck in the same place where they told her to keep quiet and not draw attention to herself. The rugged, adventurous-looking stranger, Uncle Karston, appeals to her wildly though, and she is curious and excited.... beneath a heavy blanket of fear.

That's how it goes for me, too. I'll start out a new idea, and then find that I've run it into a dead-end. Sometimes, I'll come back to those later, and see if I can make something out of it. More often than not, I'll start again with a total re-write from the same premise.

I'd gotten to that point with a story I described earlier (The step-step-niece-in-law), and was about ready to abandon it, but today I added another 6 pages (roughly 3K words, bringing it to a present total of 9K and counting). So, I guess there's still a bit of life left in it after all, and I'm beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel - moving the characters from the initial awkwardness of their situation towards the inevitable sexual encounter (it's an erotic story; it ends with orgasm(s))- that gives me hope I'll get to a satisfying conclusion at some point in the not too distant future. Hopefully, it'll all work out, but it might require a round or two of revision to tighten everything up, and bring it within the acceptable limit for LS (10K words).

Don't believe everything that you read.

My rewritten chapters 4 and 5 of "Defying Customs" are now out. Chapter 5 now has the car sex scene that should have been there from the beginning. After showing the readers how glamorous and lovely Elizabeth looks at the wheel of the 1952 Chevy with day gloves and a headscarf, it doesn't do to disappoint them by waiting until chapter 9 to finally have that scene.

They have a new friend on the backseat and I didn't know what to do with this. I put the bent-over-the-hood scene in the evening when Sophie is dozing off on that backseat. After, it is strongly suggested that she watched and got a kick out of it. Then, there are threesomes, including a pirate-themed roleplay. This could easily fall into excessive raunchiness, but since she's playing the she-Captain of the pirate ship, wearing a feathered hat and a gold-embroidered jacket, Elizabeth always retains her glamour.

At this point, this chapter is only read by guests, but a guest could like it a lot and decide to become a member, who knows?

Moving some sex scenes from chapter 6 down to chapter 5 makes the story easier to follow when Louise makes her first appearance on the intercity coach. On-board toilets were a novelty back in the early 50s. Most buses still had to make hourly stops on their way.

I really want to make readers feel how different these times were through details such as sixteen-year-old lads wearing suits with a fedora hat and able to put on a necktie with blinding speed, a teen girl dreaming of becoming a housewife, phones that would never fit in your pocket, but were black boxes attached to a landline and you always had to round-dial "0" for the operator each time you wanted to make a (costly) long-distance* call, etc. * Telegrams were the usual, cheaper alternative. This is why you see Gaston writing a love to Elizabeth in Chapter 7.

Yeah, I sometimes go that way as well. I have story ideas sitting in my head or even in rough draft form from years ago that I still have not got right (in my head). Tried dusting some off for the recent Stories Space comp and still ended up writing something new and putting them back in storage.

My story is now in drafts on here, though it will likely need some more work. I was debating category. Given my proclivity for romantic pieces, I am often drawn to Straight Sex and Love Stories but I also know strategically, those are graveyards. So I spent time wandering through the categories and found, I think, one that fits.

Will probably leave it on simmer now and give it another pass tomorrow before deciding if I am ready to pull the trigger.

I have a severe case of ADHD i think. On my hard drive, i've got thirty named, started stories, plus about five new chapters to published stories i haven't started. A lot of the unfinished stories are doomed to life inside my hard drive. i wonder if the characters get dizzy going around and around. 😇. i think i'm going to have a glass of wine.🍷

LOL. I have a subfolder in my "In Progress" folder called "Under Review" for those. I think I am up to nine or so right now, but some are multiple drafts of the same story going in different directions. I also have a penchant, that various around here have tried to break me of, of periodically deleting stuff I haven't touched in a long time on the assumption it is dead in the water so it could be much, much more. So I think the correct diagnosis would probable a severe case of being a writer.🤣

I have something for the Free Spirit competition. It's been first-drafted and stands at just 2k words. This will be my first-ever story in the first person with a character of the opposite gender. Oh my! Lol. The girl is 19 and I made sure the one on the picture looks that age too. It's a classic, but it's hot!

The final part of the “Odious” trilogy. I may have to quit writing for a bit since there appears to be a diminishing level of interest. I have never mastered the skill required to write about sex in a way that doesn’t seem contrived within the context of my stories. That is likely a knife in my literary heart on a site like Lush.

Not doing any writing while traveling but have a rather rough draft of a comp entry awaiting my return. Getting that into shape will be my writing priority once I am back.

I did finish and publish the body swap story (https://www.lushstories.com/stories/supernatural/texas-toast), and I've started what will probably be the closest I'll ever get to an ' ' story: the college-aged step-daughter of the step sister of the wife of the middle-aged, sexually frustrated protagonist. It'll also be a long one. I'm 5K words into the first draft so far, just setting the scene, introducing characters, foreshadowing, and building the tension. If I can keep the word count under 10k, I might actually publish it one day. We'll see how it goes.

Finished a first draft of the above which is currently weighing in at 13.6K words. Lots of good stuff there, but still pretty rough and flabby. It'll have to go through a round or two of revisions before it's ready for submission.

Shout-out to everyone putting creative energy into their various writing projects. I like hearing the updates and notes about everyone's writing process.

Don't believe everything that you read.

I've had most stuff on hold while I put the finishing touches on When Yesterdays Fade, finally pushing it over the line after over two years of messing about with it, on and off. So my burgeoning pile of one liners and single paragraphs in my To Do One Day folder is groaning.

I am, however, collaborating with MollyDoll on a story which I hope to be able to devote some more time to soon. Fingers crossed.

I've done a few of these - the last one, in fact, was myself (a cis-gen straight male) attempting to write from the first person perspective of a female consciousness that gets transported into a male body about a third of the way through the story having sex with their former female body. Writing across genders is pretty difficult to nail convincingly (I don't know if any of mine have succeeded, but I hope so). Good luck with the competition.

Don't believe everything that you read.

I've been writing a series of stories in a genre I call "familial horror," where the horror is a metaphor for some dynamic happening in the family.

The Free Spirit comp is looking interesting though....

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

What am I not working on right now?

Having finally finished off the It’s a Date series the other day, I’m resuming my Midlife Renewal series after nearly a year’s pause, with the next two chapters nearly ready to go.

Also got first and second drafts done on my competition entry, an idea for which I wrote the synopsis more than a decade ago, but only now started fleshing out. I’m also making it more epic … yes, I know it has to come in under 2000 words, but I think I just might pull it off.

After that, I’ve got a threeway (FFM) superheated by the southwest heat dome whose first draft is almost done. A collaboration with another prolific Lush author still in outline-plus form. Possibly a second collab with another member, who hasn’t published yet. Then a summery Watersports flash story, and by October I want to finish the lesbian proxy story that I’ve also had in synopsis form for over a decade.

Those are the ones I consider to be in “actively working on” status, anyway.

Three different short stories. I need to just go ahead and post the two I've been playing with for a year. The other is for the comp, which I'll probably not finish in time because I rarely do lol

Free Spirit entry and tinkering with an idea for a new fantasy story for SS that draws on some of what I saw in Iceland.

Trying to think of a story for the free spirits competition, but my creative juices aren't flowing just now to be honest! Luckily there is time.

Just published my Free Spirit comp story yesterday called Summer Love (link is below).

Today I’ve been working on part 20 of my series In a New York Minute - the third novel in the Mac and Grace storyline. RL got in the way of writing and then it was difficult to get my groove back. Fortunately, Grace has forgiven me for ignoring her and is talking loudly in my head again. I hope to have this part completed sooner than later.

Private Show - A man and his wife ditch a public performance in favor of a private one in this microfiction piece.

Perfectly Imperfect - where love and sex collide and a man knows his wife better than she knows herself.

The Naughty Babysitter - Part Three - Katie gives up control of her body.

Boardrooms & Boudoirs Part Fourteen - Chapters 53-56 - Grace deals with feeling out of sorts.

Working on the next chapter for "Maria". It will be "Maria and Sofia". The school bus driver will spend a night alone with two horny teen girls, inside their parents' home. I don't have all the details yet, but the name of the game will be fun activities with a definite element of danger.

Gonna look at some micros I rough drafted a while back and finish them up. Not sure what direction I want to go in yet for the free spirit comp.

Island Getaway Comp(2nd place): Fucked In The Head

My last published story: Deliciously Assumptious

I have decided to step away from writing for a time. I seem to have lost the ability to organize my creativity. I going to spend more time reading other people’s work in Lush and more time in the library. There are a few things I want research in depth online. I wonder if Lush is the place to write as my ability to write about sex simply doesn’t exist. I embarrass myself every time I try.

BTW, I.completed the Odious trilogy and it is published. You should read all three in order to make sense of it. How it ended up where it did mystified me.

I guess I did! See link in my signature.

I have recently read that Lucifer and the Archangel Michael were brothers. What a curious story that would be but likely almost impossible to build sex into as per Lush requirements.

Well, you’d be confined to the category, but other than that …
