Right now, mostly because I do genuinely like some of the folks around here and enjoy the forums. However, my writing is tending away from erotica these days so I am less active on that front than I used to be.

I came here as a place to publish erotic fiction. I've written lots of non-fiction, including six published books, but (almost) never non-fiction. Now I've found a genre that (ahem) moves me.
Since getting here, though, I find myself fascinated by the people, welcomed by them, intrigued (and often turned on) by other people's fiction, and have found the Forum interesting, and a place to ask questions I don't think I could ask anywhere else.

It was just another site. I was a published author at 18 and Lush was just another site that I posted on.
But... what drew me in was the people. The community.
Just way smarter people that appreciated the nuances of writing.
To find like minded people generally interested in the sexual side of life. Th be able to write and publish stories of a sexual nature and read those others publish. I have made some good friends through the site.
1.) First, it was the stories that bought me here.
2.) Secondly, the forums as they're pretty interesting.
3.) Third, the writers and their works here.
4.) Finally, this is the site where I can be completely myself. I don't need to be afraid of stuffs, I don't to impress or to pretend I like stuffs, and I don't need to argue with people to explain what I'm going through and reject what's happening to me is not true.
i was here a few years ago, before i got together with my now ex-wife. there was something of an awakening in me while i was here, and when my marriage ended, i decided to come back to see if i could find that again.
Out of all the sites I have found to publish my erotica, I've found Lush simply has the best people. I like the community here, they make my heart go ba-thump ba-thump. Who knew erotica authors/readers were so wholesome?
I was looking for inspiration for my writing and an outlet for my fantasies. I love FF and FFM (not FMF), occasionally with a smattering of BDSM, and this appears to be a great place to inspire my writing and provide that outlet for my fantasies. The key for me was the FF stories that are written by women on this site.
