I prefer being kind over being chivalrous. Kindness is not tied to outdated traditions or gender roles. It is being nice to someone who has zero chance of improving your lot. It is in its simplest form, living the Golden Rule. Some folks will be suspicious when you are kind to them. Be kind to them anyway. Being kind has nothing to do with whether the other person is a man or a woman. Some folks will question your manhood if you are kind. Be kind anyway. Kindness is giving free hugs with no strings attached. Kindness is lending an ear to someone who needs one, with no expectations of getting anything from them. If you still wonder about the nature of kindness, watch Ellen.

Not sure if I made it in before your deadline. I love stories that combine humor along with erotica. This story of Trinket's had me laughing out loud for a long time.

I would like to recommend 'Shall I serve you myself?' by KatieElizabeth. It's amusing, clever, sexy and well-written. There's something about Katie's style that I find very appealing and I think this is a lovely example of her work.

This is an incredibly cool thing you're doing, and made even better by the work of formatting the list that you're doing along the way. That way, rather than having to wade through the thread later on, we have a nice, neat, easy to navigate list, which at least in my case is going to give me a lot of quality stories to read, some of which i've been meaning to, and some of which I'd never heard of until now.
Thank you!

It's too bad papergirl left and took her stories with her. She did reluctance like basically nobody else except maybe Burquette.
I'll take another of those tequila sunsets, barkeep. with grenadine.

Hey everyone. Anyone got a decent reluctance story I ought to read?
A Hannah, please, and DON'T hold the grenadine. In fact, put Verbal's reject into mine.

Wow, so tough to pick just one! Several of my favorites have already been posted, so that makes it easier, but I'm still going to cheat and pick two to recommend:
https://www.lushstories.com/stories/historical/casualties.aspx by our lovely sponsor, but I didn't pick it to curry favor in hopes of winning (although...) No, seriously, I described it as "intelligent erotica" when I read it, a descriptor that could apply to any of Burquette's work. Just fine writing, as always.
and, I really need to give a nod to a series that I've been enjoying immensely because it's so well thought-out, entertaining, and so very well written;
https://www.lushstories.com/stories/love-stories/undercovers-detective.aspx by ChuckEPoo, with an editing assist by Bethany Frasier. This links to chapter one, of seven so far, I believe. Seems like a good starting place to me.
Oh, and #11, just because.![]()

Yes they did create strife, but they did also attract a lot of love and support. Those that sort to abuse them were quickly sorted out by other marchers. I think their acceptance into the March supprised them, but it also proves a point ... that opposite ends of our spectrum can share common ground and promote same, as long as the other side gives and acts like the bigger person.
Quote by hayley
Is that it? Is that all we get for turning out? Oh I soooo hope not! There are hundreds of thousands of marches around the world every year. Most are peaceful. We certainly hear abut the ones that are not. We can trust the sensationalism of the media for that.
My fear remains, that we will be remembered as an anti-Trump march and slowly, over time, the issues of our rights, that we sought to raise, will be completely forgotton. I am not sure that is not happening already, but that is a media problem and sad for us.
I don't think the anti-choicers tried to create strife around the March. Yes they did come. Yes they were spat on. Yes one of their number was badly jostled while her placard was forcibly removed. Yes she was pregnant but yes, other marchers came to her aid. It wasn't all hate they were shown. There was quite a lot of support for them and 'thanks for coming' from pro-choice marchers. There was alot of love being shown and some hatred which I suppose shows the divides that still have to be overcome. We can't close the divide but we need a bridge.
Quote by hayley
I agree with what you say, but I think you got my point.
How will the March be remembered? I think we both know the answer to that.
